KPop Demon Hunters: The Movie That Ate 2025
What it is
A 2025 Netflix animated movie about a K-pop girl group (Huntrix) that secretly hunts demons. The songs charted in real life, theaters ran sing-alongs, and Huntrix costumes are all over Halloween 2026 — the "scary-cool" pick of the year.
Why it's spreading
It's the rare kids' movie with genuinely good songs, and the lore is deep enough for a fandom but simple enough for a 9-year-old.
The one thing to know
If your teen is suddenly into K-pop, this is probably the gateway. Wholesome, as these things go.
