Senior Assassin: The Water-Gun Game (and Why Cops Hate It)
What it is
Every spring, high school seniors play a weeks-long water-gun elimination game — track your target, "shoot" them with a water blaster, last one standing wins. Bounties, alliances, betrayals. It's a beloved tradition. The problem: the blasters increasingly look like real guns, and there have been real 911 calls, school lockdowns, and criminal charges when someone mistook a player for a threat.
Why it's spreading
It's tradition now — every senior class runs it, bigger than the last. The drama is the point.
The one thing to know
The game itself is harmless; the lookalike blasters are the entire issue. If your senior is playing, that's the thing to check.
