J Balvin’s new Jordans

Who is J Balvin? Colombian reggaeton superstar. Reggaeton is Latin dance music with a heavy beat, think Bad Bunny and Daddy Yankee. His biggest song is “Mi Gente,” with more than 3.7 billion YouTube views. He’s been collaborating with Jordan Brand since 2020, and this is his fourth Jordan collab, and his first Air Jordan 4. Sneaker fans have been waiting months for it.
The details: bright yellow croc-textured leather inspired by the Amazon rainforest. One shoe says “Just Do It” on the lace tag, the other says “Solo Hazlo,” which is Spanish for “Just Do It.” Because he’s Colombian. Duh.
They dropped September 28 on J Balvin’s website, then October 2 on Nike SNKRS. SNKRS is Nike’s app for limited-edition drops. It’s where sneakers go to sell out in eleven seconds.
Which is why Nike’s US page for them is already gone 😉 Future drops show up on the SNKRS launch calendar.
Here’s the twist: resale is actually below retail right now. They were $225 new. On StockX, pairs started from about $167 on October 10 (about $175 with fees), and the last one sold for $165. Prices change by size, so check GOAT too. Men’s sizes only.
